Note Book How can I set up a Remote Desktop connection with net-book/note-book to my desktop for free?
I would like to buy a cheap note/net-book so I can access my desktop (vista) computer from anywhere and use the programs and files as if I was on my desktop. My concern is the trouble I've had trying to set these up, its always more complicated than its supposed to be with remote desktop connections. Also, if I set it up, would the netbook have to run any of the desktop programs or it like streaming video?

go their sign up for a free account install the software on your pc and let it run in the taskbar. Then intstall it on your netbook now you can logon to Your Desktop and run from anywhere with an internet connection. no your netbook will not be running anything its simply streaming a shot of the desktop to your netbook. its free and works good for me, i am sure their are many different ones but log me in worked flawlessly so that's what i have used in the past.
